Both believe things as articles of faith and when weighing up history atheism has caused more harm than theism and has been more indoctrinating. As you prove. Science does not oppose God nor does theism contradict the world we know. You are only showing your lack of understanding of the issue

Atheism is about requiring evidence before ensorsing an idea, and even when an idea has a mountain of evidence and continues to be supported by all new findings (such as evolution) there is still the possibility of some new findings proving the idea wrong, which science will adapt to. Religions refuse to accept any evidence which proves their doctrines false (or at least proves their stories to be fictional).
