Jan 12, 2010 - to this day in my country,....it is a social tabu for a girl to wear her hair in braids,...to be with it, she has to appear like the girls in cosmopolitan urban society, as for the guys a "vaquero" (cowboy)look is the appropriate, no long hair or anything to associate with the grandfathers, seems like it isn't good to be proud of your "indian" roots.
