Feb 9, 2010 - Absolutely right - this is one movie that seems much more pertinent now than it did then. This was actually dismissed at the time by some reviewers as being ridiculous or over-the-top. Now, it's uncanny how accurate this movie is, not just with reality TV, but the chicanery behind the scenes (Fox News, anyone?). Peter Finch is superb, but give equal credit to William Holden as well. Both sadly missed, and both were real actors - not the teen idol paparazzi talentless shit we see now.

Feb 15, 2010 - It did win Best Picture. It won a few Oscars (posthumous one for Peter Finch), with ROCKY as the main competition. ROCKY is the better known film of the two, and as much as I like ROCKY, NETWORK's better.

Mar 10, 2010 - I'd never heard of this film until samples were used over a track on a mix CD I had, I got round to buying it the other day and was so happy to see it. The whole film seems to be one long political message but it's all very relevent to todays world, very good film. My only disappointment was the ending, won't spoil it for those who have yet to see it though!
