Nov 20, 2009 - You can be sure there is evolution. What actual research have you done? You are just going by what you read on the internet and were taught in school. You are being closed minded. Its only your way and no other way. How is that not being closed minded?

Ac3rino Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - haha do you hear your self...you know how ridiculous it is to be going by what the bible says?...And also, so basically, all the work that scientists (A LOT BTW)have put on working on the evolution making it a fact, it is all unreal then? You know I base my facts off evidence and not faith which it's exactly what religion and the bible is(faith)...and I said I was not 100% sure there's a good...I am more 99.9% for Evolution and 0.1% for Creation, see I am not close minded =]

happyhappy85 Says:

Dec 3, 2009 - Hmm... a bit stupid aren't you?... back to school maybe?

flaminshiz Says:

Dec 6, 2009 - Evolution is a joke, if you don't belive me look up origin of matter, they can't even get their fuckin story straight HAHA

RuskePerson Says:

Dec 8, 2009 - Umm... Evolution has nothing to do with the origin of matter. Evolution deals with why there are so many species, and how new species come about.

technologysucks Says:

Dec 14, 2009 - Actually, several animals show the beginnings of language. Vervet monkeys have specific calls for warning of specific types of predators (leopard, hawk, snake). Chimps have different calls for announcing certain foods. Dogs will use body language and vocal signals to send messages to other dogs, and elephants communicate using infrasonic rumbles, and have a specific rumble for "lion" which has been played by humans to make elephants leave the area.

technologysucks Says:

Dec 14, 2009 - The temptation to list traits that are 100% unique to us, rather then being found in a cruder form in other species, is an alluring one. I usually try to avoid it but even I've giving to tha quest. To my knowledge, we are the only beast that reflects on prejudice/arrogance within ourselves and try to work against instincts toward xenophobia, obedience to authority, etc. Ironic, those who try to seperate man from beast deny one of the things that truly do that by not realizing their own arrogance

Naxos99 Says:

Dec 30, 2009 - I think it's the level of abstraction in human language that makes it so powerful, and unique.

Thundermonk99 Says:

Jan 6, 2010 - a lot in life is choosing what authorities are trustworthy. Generally scientific data is reliable because of the regulations that surround it. Peer-review makes forging data or conclusions difficult.

Thundermonk99 Says:

Jan 6, 2010 - your statements made sense up to the point where you stated that there was just as much evidence for creationism as for evolution. Of course everything is a matter of faith, TO SOME DEGREE. However, the doubt we have regarding evolution is not nearly as high as creationism. Frankly, to call it faith is dwelling on a tiny bit of uncertainty which is almost negligible. The lack of evidence for creationism is NOT negligible.

Raptor302 Says:

Jan 8, 2010 - In regards to strawman arguments, most creationists probably do believe them sincerely. They are simply repeating the misinformation handed down to them from their pastor or youth minister, individuals that they consider to be more credible then "atheistic evolutionists."

MusicAtmo Says:

Jan 9, 2010 - I agree with techno, though. Animals do have language. Any species that can make noise through their mouth has to have some kind of language, what else would it be used for, random grunts and noises? I think what really separates us from animals is the capability to think into the future, about possibilities, and daring solutions.

Naxos99 Says:

Jan 10, 2010 - There are also many animals that communicate without using their mouths or without using sound.

MusicAtmo Says:

Jan 10, 2010 - basic communication, all animals do it including humans. it is sometimes the only way an autistic person can communicate.

darebinroad Says:

Jan 17, 2010 - Ants build skyscrapers (from their point of view) without reading books about it.

ImedaErnie Says:

Jan 20, 2010 - In human development, if I remember correctly, there are 3 levels of pre-language communication (not sure what the exact term is) before we develop proper language skills: 1. Crying 2. Cooing 3. Babbling (I am not trying to make any specific point, I just think it is interesting information within this discussion.)

MusicAtmo Says:

Jan 22, 2010 - lol, yah. but it's really useless to discuss this with scientific confidence since we know so much about brain development and there's 1000 times more we don't. but nonetheless it is an interesting point :)

SillyCyban Says:

Feb 1, 2010 - 0:40 lol fucking adorable

bltnxkrw Says:

Feb 4, 2010 - @darebinroad no, they're just huge piles of mud.

Myownredeem3r Says:

Feb 6, 2010 - GREAT VIDEO!

KnowTheAnswer Says:

Feb 7, 2010 - creationists are a couple of evolutionary steps behind monkeys

skepticoz Says:

Feb 10, 2010 - "A deranged man masturbating and throwing his shit at the zoo..." Oh! Don't worry, that's just Bill O'Reilly.

spinnersmetal Says:

Mar 9, 2010 - Joe Rogan said it best: "People don't consider our cities and such as nature. A city that we build is no different than a beehive we are just much smarter than bees."
