Jan 23, 2010 - the british word is koalabear. gervais is british, and therefore saying koalabear. you are australian. in austalia they say koala. therefore you say koala.
JustBecauz Says:
Jan 24, 2010 - a 'Koala' doesn't have different names in different places. Animals are called the same in every country (excusing species and language) but the 'koala' is just that. It doesn'ty have 'bear' on the end and isn't related to bears in anyway. Fact is that it is not meant to be called a 'koalabear' no matter the country and that is a fact, not opinion
sigfurt Says:
Jan 24, 2010 - "Although taxonomically incorrect, the name koala bear"
sigfurt Says:
Jan 24, 2010 - "Although taxonomically incorrect, the name koala bear is still in use today outside Australia"
JustBecauz Says:
Jan 24, 2010 - yes but it shouldn't be called that at all. Don't call other animals with dumb variations. it's like calling a giraffe a 'giraffehorse' or a shark a 'sharkfish'. it is 'Koala'.
andyplowright Says:
Jan 25, 2010 - The british word is Koala. Some people call them Koala Bears, but they're wrong. Just like the people who call Tuna 'Tunafish'.
Arcangelchaps Says:
Jan 27, 2010 - yeah cause a "koala" is not a bear u tosser so to say koala bear is to say 'Bear rat' u F'in tosser.
sigfurt Says:
Jan 27, 2010 - why the flippin hech are you calling me tosser? gosh darnit
sidremus Says:
Jan 31, 2010 - @JustBecauz wrong sir, many animals have the word bear in there name, even if they are not a member of that race especially in other countries and languages, e.g. the koala is called koalabär in germany (wich would mean koalabear in streight translation) or the raccoon wich is called waschbär in german, and again both these are not bears at all
KelliHell Says:
Feb 2, 2010 - Oh, come on!!! You (all of you) are like the idiot who wakes up at 3 A.M. and HAS to tell the world that the peanut is in fact not a nut. "Koala", "Koala bear", "Koala Gazelle".. Who gives a fuck..? It'll be extinct by the time Ricky's next show comes out..
DrewBludd Says:
