Jan 16, 2010 - @Horser01 Sure...comedians hate when people laugh!!
Horser01 Says:
Jan 16, 2010 - I didn't mean her laugh itself, it's just distracting because she's so loud.

Jan 18, 2010 - I saw Gilbert Gottfried do something like this to a woman in a parking lot. He didn't let her off the hook either. Just wrecked her - had her flopping around on the cement, helpless. The difference is that Williams does this on command. Like the difference between a blunderbuss and a machinegun.

Feb 23, 2010 - Can it be taught, can it be learned? I'm an amateur stand up comic and I have done only 1 gig. It lasted 30 mins. It was good and it was hella hard. When I was planning for my gig, I thought of stealing jokes from the great ones "Robin Williams" being one of them. And I found that it really didn't work for me. What worked? My personal experiences with my script and how I made my experiences funny for people. Stuff everyone could relate to. And so, cant it be taught or learned? Neither.
ArchonSpire Says:
Feb 23, 2010 - I think that's what Robin meant with this segment. He didnt answer the question directly, but he showed all of us what he knew and how he made fun about what he knew. From my (modest) experience, making people laugh is a gift. Just like singing and dancing. You may know how to sing and sing well, you may sing every note perfectly, hell you may even sing and dance well. But you can never be Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, or Robin Williams. You can only be yourself and make fun of yourself.
